Liberals Fail to respond to Campaign against Abortion in Aachen, Germany

The German branch of TFP Student Action Europe was once again in the heart of Aachen to give a voice to the unborn.

In addition to actions in Belgium and the Netherlands, Aachen was chosen as the site for another in a series of actions in Europe aimed at atonement and a firm response to the monstrous inclusion of the murder of innocents as a "right" in the French constitution.

Speaking in Versailles on the night of the vote, Macron announced that he would not rest until abortion is legal in all stages of pregnancy in Europe and throughout the world: “Today’s not the end of the story, it’s the beginning of a combat. If France has become the only country in the world whose constitution explicitly protects the right to an abortion in all circumstances, we will not rest until this promise is kept throughout the world. We will wage this battle on our continent, in our Europe, where reactionary forces first and always attack women’s rights, before going on to attack the rights of minorities, of all the oppressed, of all freedoms,” he warned.

Pro-Life Movement impresses with its Dynamism

The left has recognized how the defense of the unborn can spread. The speakers in Versailles spoke from a position of weakness and uncertainty. They felt the need to place the most difficult legal obstacle imaginable in the way of those who oppose abortion.

But history has shown that such legal obstacles can be overcome against all odds, even after abortion has been considered "settled law" for decades. Frightened, French liberals felt compelled to act.

Pro-lifers around the world dared to challenge the revolutionary myth that induced abortion was irreversible. Dobbs' decision struck terror into the cold, cruel hearts of feminists and liberals around the world. They believe that if abortion can be overturned in America, abortion is vulnerable around the world. The French constitutional amendment was their diabolical answer. But it was also an admission of their own weakness.

In France, tens of thousands of people march for life every year. In Germany, cities large and small hold similar demonstrations throughout the year. Last year alone, more than 7,000 people - mostly young people - marched in Berlin and Cologne to end abortion. The liberals are noticing this change in attitude and that is exactly what they fear.

In Aachen, however, despite having organized counter-protests on previous occasions, antifas and radical left groups were completely demobilized and taken by surprise. The few militants who showed up just watched the demonstration of our volunteers almost passively. A sign of the times.

A new generation of pro-family activists is forming in Germany, and they are not afraid to proclaim the whole truth: The God-given right to life is non-negotiable.

The future belongs to those who have faith and oppose the sin of abortion.

It is now up to us to pray and step up the fight to prevent this curse from spreading to Germany and the rest of Europe.
