Dutchman sues Gender 'Clinic': 'hastily declared Transgender'

Sam, as the young man's fictitious name is, holds the gender centre responsible for hastily 'diagnosing' gender dysphoria. In fact, he would have been close to having been sexually mutilated.

Dutchman sues Gender 'Clinic': 'hastily declared Transgender'

THEMES:

The number of young people confused about their gender continues to rise. So-called gender 'clinics' play a big role in this. They 'diagnose' confused children with gender dysphoria. Thus, they are pre-sorted for gender mutilation and a life filled with regret.

Depression

An article on EenVandaag current affairs column features one Sam. A young man who tells his story under a pseudonym. In his own words, as a teenager he had been 'in a knot with himself' for years. As a 16-year-old, he hears the story of a so-called 'transgender' during a television broadcast. This leads the boy, who also struggles with homosexual tendencies, to the idea of becoming "a new kind of person".

Diagnosis

At the University Hospital in Groningen, he is diagnosed with gender dysphoria after only "a few conversations". When he later moved to Amsterdam, he was treated as transgender almost immediately at the VU medical centre. "From the very beginning, the process in Amsterdam focused on meeting the conditions for transition," he told EenVandaag.

No Regard for Other Issues

The years when Sam is plagued by these depressive and confusing feelings, his parents also divorce and he finds little connection with peers. So he feels quite lonely during this time. According to the young man, this was not taken into account during his 'treatment'. They kept telling him that all his problems would be solved if he 'became a girl'.

Sam in 'Transition'

In the Netherlands, children from the age of 16 are deemed to be able to make this choice for themselves. That there are huge health risks attached to this is not mentioned in any way. "There has never been any opposition one way or the other," Sam tells EenVandaag. His mother had objections to her son's 'transition', but she was "not heard enough", according to him. He had been taking hormones for a long time and the date of his genital mutilation had already been scheduled.

"Through the Eye of the Needle"

At 22, Sam had a moment of repentance. He realises that "changing" his sex is not the solution to his problems. He cancels surgery and stops taking hormone pills. The now 25-year-old young man now feels relieved. "It wouldn't have made much difference if I had had the sex surgery. When I think about that, it can make me very sore. I really crawled through the eye of the needle, I feel."

Tunnel Vision

According to Sam, in such a conversation with a 'gender expert', the conclusion that someone 'is' transgender is already fixed. Everything is therefore explained within that mendacious framework. "Someone is bullied, abused, neglected, etcetera because he or she is trans. Or someone has an unhealthy obsession with their appearance or genitals because they are trans. Other possible causes are not looked at or investigated," the young man said.

Acknowledgement and Compensation

According to Sam, he was hastily 'diagnosed', which almost cost him his genitals. "If they had been more careful, and not just encouraged and affirmed me, I would have been much more critical myself and might never have done it." This is why he and a female fellow sufferer are pushing for recognition and compensation from the UMC in Amsterdam.

Transition Regret

According to his lawyer, Sam and his female fellow sufferer are far from being the only ones. In fact, besides these two, he is handling cases of eight other victims of gender ideology. Large-scale lawsuits have already been filed in other countries against gender 'clinics' that have sexually mutilated young people. American Chloe Cole is one of the most well-known campaigners on the issue.

God created Them Male and Female

Man is created in God's image, male or female. Feelings, however strong, do not change this. So-called 'intersex persons', men or women with an abnormality of their genitals, only further prove this binary reality: the fact that a very small number of people are born with 12 toes confirms the norm of 10. The moment man starts 'recreating' himself according to his own wishful thinking, trouble is waiting to happen. The God-created body is not the problem, but rather the satanic-inspired feeling that wishes to mutilate the body and his or her fertility.

A principled, not a personal position
