Stop “Pride Mass” Sacrilege in Antwerp that promotes the opposite of Catholic morality

Regretfully, Diocese of Antwerp is organising an "Ecumenical Celebration in honour of the 'Antwerp Pride' on 10/08" at St Norbertus Church, Dageraadplaats 5 in Antwerp, as published in their website on 23 June 2024. [1]

This is not the first time that so-called "Pride Masses" have been celebrated in the diocese of Antwerp.

Last year one of these celebrations took place in the same St Norbertus Church also during the "Pride Antwerp" event.

In December of the same year, a so-called "Rainbow Eucharistic Celebration" was held at the Parish Church of the Blessed Sacrament in Merksem, where volunteers of TFP Student Action demonstrated peacefully yet firmly outside the church, echoing the voice of Catholic public opinion protesting against the influence of the LGBTI+ lobby within the Holy Church with the desire to subvert Her.

The Holy Mass and the sin of pride are mutually exclusive.

The Catechism of the Catholic Church (CCC) clearly states in number 2357:

Basing itself on Sacred Scripture, which presents homosexual acts as acts of grave depravity, tradition has always declared that "homosexual acts are intrinsically disordered." They are contrary to the natural law. They close the sexual act to the gift of life. They do not proceed from a genuine affective and sexual complementarity. Under no circumstances can they be approved.[2]

If a person practicing homosexual sin wants to repent, we should undoubtedly receive him with mercy and love, repeating our Lord's words to the public sinner: "Go, [and] from now on do not sin any more." (John 8:11). That is, forsake sin, practice virtue, give up your vice.

The so-called “Pride Mass” at St Norbertus Church in Antwerp is an outrage against God, a slap against His Blessed Mother, and a violation of Catholic morality. The blasphemous event calls for prayer and reparation to the Sacred Heart of Jesus.
