Dutch TFP Congress for the Family 2023

From far and wide, supporters of the Dutch TFP came to Nijkerk for the Family in Danger campaign congress. They came together in defence of the family as God intended. The stimulating lectures, engaging testimonies and heartwarming encounters made this an event that many will long remember. "A day not to forget!", said one of the supporters of Family in Danger.

The Tipping Point in the Fight for Our Children

After an introductory lecture by campaign manager Hugo Bos, family activist James Bascom bit the bullet with a live subtitled lecture on the origins of gender ideology. In his talk, the American exposed how the Sexual Revolution goes against God's Order of Creation in every way. Bascom also showed that this global anti-Christian revolution is beginning to lose ground because many people refuse to believe the necessary lies. This is what gives hope to our struggle. In the end, truth will always prevail.

Christian Schools not safe from lhbt Coercion

The lecture by Henk Rijkers, senior editor at Gezin in Gevaar, built on Bascom's lecture. The focus of his lecture was sexual indoctrination in education. Christian schools are finding it increasingly difficult to invoke 'educational freedom' to get out from under sexual indoctrination. This is especially true for parents of non-Christian schools. But the Lammers affair and the Week of Spring Tickles have shown how broad-based the opposition to gender ideology is. The pro-family sound of Family in Danger can therefore count on growing support.

Feminism harmful to Men and Women

Last up was Jeanne Smits. In her lecture, the French-Dutch journalist took feminism to task. She pointed out the harmful consequences of feminism for both men and women. She spent much of her speaking time on the far-reaching consequences of the contraceptive pill. Smits showed how this invention not only upsets the hormone balance of the female body, with all its consequences, but also how it changed the dynamics between men and women forever. However, the God-inspired complementary qualities and needs of men and women remain undiminished.

Like-mindedness was almost tangible

After the lectures by campaign leader Hugo Bos and the other speakers, tasty snacks were handed out under musical accompaniment. Afterwards, there was an opportunity to chat with each other. "Huge thanks for the courage to organise this!" expressed one enthusiastic man. For several, this was the highlight of the evening. It was a relief for them to speak freely with like-minded people on the Christian truth about sexuality and concerns about its distortion. One young man was visibly touched by this. "Very inspiring to be here. This is how we strengthen the voice that is so unheard in our country." The positive response, the fighting spirit and the interconnection between those who were previously strangers to each other made this congress a great success.
