Privacy Policy

This Policy explains when and why we collect personal information about people who respond to our direct mail communications, how we use it, the conditions under which we may disclose it to others and how we keep it secure.

WHO ARE WE?

Tradition, Family, Property Association—TFP (also known as Tradition, Family, Property – Bureau for the United Kingdom) is a not-for-profit association located at Langbank Farm, Dowan Rd., Glasgow G62 6EL. We are registered as a data controller with the Information Commissioner’s Office, registration no. Z7555494.

HOW DO WE COLLECT INFORMATION ABOUT YOU?

We obtain information about you in two ways according to the legitimate bases for processing personal data authorised by the GDPR (General Data Protection Regulation):

  1. Our Legitimate Interests: This is our primary basis for processing personal data. It enables us to seek funds from those who agree with our cause and to broaden our support base. We do this through direct marketing campaigns about issues we think you and the general public will find of interest. Our methods include: door-to-door leafletting, loose inserts and ads in the Christian press, mailshots, street campaigns, etc.
  2. Your Consent: Another way we process personal data is when you contact us to request our materials, donate to our work, or place orders for items we offer.

WHAT TYPE OF INFORMATION IS COLLECTED FROM YOU?

We collect your personal information by postal mail, email, over the telephone, face-to-face or via forms on the website. This might include your name, address, telephone number, and email address. If you make a credit/debit card donation or purchase, the information you give is processed by third party payment processors specialising in the secure processing of credit/debit card transactions.

HOW IS YOUR INFORMATION USED?

  • process a donation you have made;
  • process orders you have submitted;

  • Contacting you with information and updates about campaigns and events by post, email or telephone;

We will hold your personal information on our systems for as long as is necessary for the relevant activity.

WHO HAS ACCESS TO YOUR INFORMATION?

We will not sell or rent your information to third parties.

We will not share your information with third parties for marketing purposes.

Third Party Service Providers working on our behalf: We may pass your information to our third-party service providers for the purposes of completing tasks and providing services to you on our behalf (for example to process donations and send you mailings). However, when we use third party service providers, we disclose only the personal information that is necessary to deliver the service and we have a contract in place that requires them to keep your information secure and not to use it for their own direct marketing purposes.

Third Party Product Providers we work in association with: When you make a donation or pay by credit/debit card, these transactions are processed by a third-party payment processor who specialises in the secure online capture and processing of credit/debit card transactions. If you have any questions regarding secure transactions, please contact us.

We may transfer your personal information if we’re under a duty to disclose or share your personal data in order to comply with any legal obligation. Nonetheless we will take steps to ensure your privacy rights continue to be protected.

You have a choice about whether or not you wish to receive information from us. If you do not want to receive direct marketing communications from us about our vital work to restore a society based on Christian principles, then you can contact Mr. Philip Moran:

The accuracy of your information is important to us. So, if you move to a new house or change email address, or any of the other information we hold is inaccurate or out of date, please contact Mr. Philip Moran:

You have the right to ask for a copy of the information TFP UK holds about you (we may charge £10 for information requests) to cover our costs in providing you with details of the information we hold about you.

HOW SECURE IS YOUR INFORMATION?

When you give us personal information, we take steps to protect the loss, misuse and alteration of the information under our control. Only authorised personnel can view your data. And we make our best effort to ensure its security on our systems.
